for women of all nationalities

Our Mission Statement

AIWC Geneva provides women of all nationalities a supportive, English-speaking environment where they can develop friendships with other members, learn about the Geneva area, welcome newcomers, and share talents while participating in member-organized activities and volunteering with local charitable organizations.

Founded in 1958, we have more than 300 members from over 45 countries. While our common bond is English, our goal is to develop lasting friendships and explore this beautiful country

The courier

The Fall 2026 issue of The Courier has arrived. With the theme "Moving". Our members have written a variety of articles on their adventures moving around the world.

We have also republished an article by Natalie Horwarth, in her memory. We are grateful for the role she played and her many friendships with our members. She was an accomplished chef and shared her talent with the Club.

Pick up your hard copy at the Club, or click on the image to the right to read about the following topics:

  • Fay takes us to a museum in Rotterdam.
  • Katherine and Esther recount their experiences moving as well as staying in Geneva.
  • Penny shares her story of helping Ali, an Iranian refugee, get residency in Canada.
  • Janice shares some atmospheric haikus and photos.
  • Carol describes her quest to find her holiday home in Spain.
  • Sara explains the Masquerade Fundraiser for the CRR, our wildlife sanctuary charity.
  • Raji tells us about the volunteer services and opportunities we offer members.
  • Regular features, What's On and Message from the President
  • Listings for our many activities including some new ones.
  • ...and more!

Thanks to Karen and The Courier team for another excellent publication!
