We are the AIWC. Founded in 1958, we have over 350 members from over 45 countries. While our common bond is English, our goal is to develop lasting friendships and explore this beautiful country we live in.
As of November 2, our Club has temporarily suspended all of its in-person activities and events (whether indoors or outdoors). As an organization, we are supporting the Geneva Cantonal Council's recommendation to limit contact with each other. The Board will meet on December 3 to determine if we will reopen in December.
Some of our activities have moved online. Members, please check the calendar for more information.
Stay safe everyone and we will see you again soon!
We offer a wide variety of activities to our members including language classes, hiking, baby groups, crafting, book clubs, card games, painting and much more.
Are you interested in learning more about the AIWC? Then we invite you to attend one of our monthly Welcome Coffees. These coffees are usually held on the second Wednesday of the month from 10:00-11:30 with the program starting at 10:30.
This is a great way to learn about the AIWC’s activities, special events, excursions and community service projects in a casual setting.
The next coffee will be in January. Due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19, we may schedule this coffee later in the month vs. the second Wednesday. Please check back in early January for a confirmation of the date and registration link.
If you can't make our coffee, then stop by and visit our Clubrooms during office hours.
