In this role he supports the Director General to transform WHO into an Organization sharply focused on impact at the country level. Dr Singer co-chaired the transition team; was the architect of WHO’s strategy and its “triple billion” target; works with colleagues to guide consistent strategy implementation of WHO’s program budget, results framework and first investment case. March 2, 2021 How to Find Your Creative Writing with Eric Carlson Eric is hails from the U.S. and aside from his job at the United Nations, he is a writer - writing novels, short stories, as well as non-fictions books and articles on Human Rights. Eric is well known for his books: “Anxiety of Ghosts”, “Muladona”, “Saint Perpetuus Club of Buenos Aires”, “I Remember Julia: Voices of the disappeared”, and “GAS: A Short Story Collection”. We'll be answering questions as well as sharing information about routes in and out of Geneva, hiking apps/maps, our Friday and Wednesday groups and a new adventure group, as well as how COVID safety guidelines affect our group. March 25, 2021 A talk with David Hawley on Education in the Time of COVID David Hawley, Director General of Ecolint and Chief Executive and educational leader of the Foundation that governs all three campuses has kindly accepted to speak at our Extremely Exciting Evening Event series. A Canadian and U.S. national, David began his career teaching science in Guatemala and Venezuela. He has since served as head of schools in Costa Rica, Germany, Atlanta, Canada and The Hague before coming to Switzerland to Ecolint.
