The American International Women's Club is an all-volunteer organization. Founded in 1958, the AIWC currently has about 450 members from 45 nations. Our Club activities, publications, and management are led by our members; which means our membership dues are set to cover the expense of our centrally-located Clubrooms.
The Benefits of membership are:
Welcome CoffeesWe invite you to attend our monthly Welcome Coffee. These casual events are a great way to learn about the AIWC’s 40+ activities, special events, excursions and community service projects. We also serve coffee and home-baked treats.
Our Welcome Coffees are usually the second Wednesday of the month at our Clubrooms (except July & August) from 10:00-11:30 with the program starting at 10:30. There is no need to RSVP. Just show up! Children are welcome. | Open HouseTwice a year (September and February), we organize a special Open House for both new comers and seasoned members. This is a fantastic event to get a sense of the ambiance of our Club, meet our Activity Leaders and members in order to ask any questions you might have. Unfortunately, due to the current COVID-19 restrictions in place for Geneva and the country as a whole, our Clubrooms are currently closed and all in-person activities are on hiatus. But we are open on Zoom. If you would like to learn more or test drive an activity or two, please contact our Membership Director, Barbara, at aiwcmembership@gmail.com. We hope to welcome you to our Clubrooms soon! |
