4 paws hiking and social group - If you like hiking with your 4 legged friend while chatting with your 2 legged friends come and join us as we explore dog friendly walks around Geneva! A 1.5 - 2 hour afternoon walk on the third Tuesday of each month. If you have a dog or simply love dogs we’d love to see you! Walks are accessible by public transport.

Due to Covid-19 Directives, the number of dog walkers is limited this month. Registration is required! 

Please register at the latest, by the Monday 10:00 to be sure to receive any final details from Fran.Once you register, a confirmation email will be sent to you with Fran's contact information and /or walking details.

Swiss Federal and Cantonal regulations will always be followed.

  1. Masks must be worn on public transportation.

  2. If a member has traveled within 10 days before the hike to any country considered a risk under Swiss Federal and Cantonal regulations, they must be quarantined and may not join the hike.

  3. Walkers are requested to maintain a 1.5-metre distance between themselves and other walkers. To facilitate this, we suggest walking in pairs (two persons, side by side), only. If this distance can't be maintained, please wear a mask.

  4. A list of the Wags participating each outing will be kept by the leader for two weeks after the walk for contact and tracing purposes

General Guidelines (updated October 2020)

  1. Wags and Woofs is open to all AIWC members.

  2. Female adult guests are allowed (once per guest) and must be announced in advance when registering for the hike. 

  3. Children are not allowed on hikes.

  4. Dogs are very welcome, owners are completely responsible for their own dog's behaviour.

  5. Hikes are generally 1.5 to 2 hours, though this may vary.

  6. Hikes are generally in the cantons of Geneva and Vaud and are easily accessible by public transit. 

  7. Anyone wishing to join Wags and Woofs must register on the Website.

  8. In the interest of safety, it may be necessary to limit the size of the group - this is at the discretion of the Activity Leader

  9. Participants are responsible for their own safety and wellbeing and that of their dog and must follow the instructions provided by the Activity Leader.

  10. The AIWC declines responsibility for the loss of personal property..
