May 5,  Wednesday Morning Hike - Jussy loop

This week we will start and finish the hike in Jussy. It is a relatively flat walk within the zone 10 area and has beautiful views of countryside and mountains. It is approximately 2 hours.

Please register on the Calendar by the day before the Hike to be sure to receive final details.

Hope to see you on the hike.    Louise

Registration is required - Register today!

Once you register, a confirmation email will be sent to you with  Louise's contact information and/or full hiking details.

As a reminder we also need to wear masks or remain socially distanced during the hike.

The first and third Wednesday mornings each month we follow hiking paths for generally 2 hours at a pace that allows for taking photographs and pausing at a particular area of beauty. We go into the countryside of the cantons of Geneva and Vaud. Public transport is usually necessary to join the hike. If you would like to explore local hikes at a gentler pace, this is the group for you!

Swiss Federal and Cantonal regulations will always be followed.

  1. Masks must be worn on public transportation.
  2. If a member has traveled within 10 days before the hike to any country or area considered a risk under Swiss Federal and Cantonal regulations, they must quarantine and may not join the hike.
  3. Walkers are requested to maintain a 1.5-metre distance between themselves and other walkers. To facilitate this, we suggest walking in pairs (two persons, side by side), only.
  4. A list of the hikers participating on a hike will be kept by the leader for two weeks after the hike for contact and tracing purposes.

  8. In the interest of safety, it may be necessary to limit the size of the group - this is at the discretion of the Activity Leader
