Our tour guides will inform you about the activities of the United Nations and about how the UN impacts your life, among the people who make it happen. You will also discover the Palais des Nations, a unique building, formerly the headquarters of the League of Nations.

The Palais des Nations is currently being refurbished in certain areas. Many attractions are still accessible.

About

What you will see, depending on our daily schedule of meetings:

• The Human Rights and Alliance of Civilizations Room, decorated by famous artist Miquel Barcelò.
• The library of the Palais des Nations.
• The UN Museum Geneva.
• Part of the Ariana Park and the monument commemorating the conquest of outer space.
• A film about the history and features of the Assembly Hall, the largest room in the Palais des Nations.
• The Council Chamber, where many important historical negotiations have taken place, with murals by José Maria Sert.
• Gifts presented by various countries to the United Nations Office at Geneva.
• The plaza and entrance of our new state-of the-art and sustainable Building H.

Important Notices:

• Our tour route and schedule may be affected by the meetings which take place at the Palais des Nations. Some rooms may therefore not be accessible, without prior notice. The Visitors' Service may also need to close at short notice, depending on the events taking place at the Palais des Nations.
• All visitors must carry a valid passport issued by a  Member State  or an  Observer State  of the United Nations, or an identity card (only identity cards from the Schengen zone are accepted) in order to have access to the Palais des Nations.

Security Information

• During the current refurbishment phase and related building work taking place in the Palais des Nations buildings, we regret not to be able to welcome visitors with reduced mobility.
• Visitors should arrive at least 45 minutes before their scheduled tour for security screening upon arrival.
• Visitors may not enter the Palais des Nations with luggage or large bags.
• Our visitors are kindly requested to follow the security requirements our tour guides give at the beginning of the tour.

We'll be meeting 45 minutes before the beginning of the tour at the reception in front of the broken chair (Flags entrance)

The costs are CHF 18

Minimum of 15 people dor the event to happen.

Please register and pay before February 1st.

There will be no cancellations.
