Wine Tasting Seminars @ Room 8&9

This month's theme:  Sparkling Wine Decoded - Have you ever been in a wine shop in front of the sparkling wine section and wondered what the difference is between Champagne, Prosecco and Cava?  Why is Champagne so much more expensive?  Is it worth it?  As we approach the holiday season, come learn about the many different kinds of sparkling wine around the world and how they are made, how they taste and what food to pair them with.  AIWC club member Beth Ann Dahan, long-time wine educator and vineyard owner will lead us through a tasting of a variety of sparkling wine varietals from around the world. All wine lovers welcome – no experience or prerequisite required!

The cost of this course will be CHF 15-20 to cover the cost of the sparkling wines. Please bring this to the class and pay directly to Beth Ann.

The Wine Tasting Seminars will take place at different times over the course of the year. Each class is a stand-alone class.

Future seminars might include, but not limited to: New World vs Old World wines, Fortified Wines, Regional Wine Seminars, and Food Wine Pairing.
