This month's theme: Wines of the Rhone Valley
AIWC club member Beth Ann Dahan, long-time wine educator and vineyard owner will lead us through a tasting of a variety of wines from the sprawling Rhone Valley in France. All wine lovers welcome – no experience or prerequisite required!
The Rhone Valley is one of the world’s oldest wine regions and produces a dizzying array of wines. Discover the varietal wines of the Northern Rhone and the many blended wines of the Southern Rhone. Learn about the many grape varietals of the region, the difference between a Côtes du Rhone and a Côtes du Rhone Village and what makes the Crus wines like Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Crozes-Hermitage so special.
The cost of this course will be CHF 15-20 to cover the cost of the wines. Please bring this to the class and pay directly to Beth Ann.
The Wine Tasting Seminars will take place at different times over the course of the year. Each class is a stand-alone class.
Future seminars might include, but not limited to: New World vs Old World wines, Fortified Wines, Regional Wine Seminars, and Food Wine Pairing.
