Early 19th century Champagne: At the age of 27, Barbe-Nicole Clicquot Ponsardin took over the family winery after her husband's death—a courageous decision in a male-dominated era. With determination and innovation, the "grande dame of Champagne" led the company through crises and left her mark on modern champagne production.

Calling all movie lovers! Join us on the first Monday of the month (subject to change some months) to watch a movie in a local cinema followed by discussion of the movie over a glass of wine or a coffee in a nearby café. We will choose movies either in English or with English subtitles that are screening on a Monday afternoon or early evening depending on showtimes.
