Join us to explore the rich diversity of restaurants in Geneva and its environs.
This month we will lunch at BAB SIMSIM, a delightful café-restaurant-grocery store for those who appreciate the vibrant flavours of Middle Eastern cuisine with a modern twist.
At the heart of this charming establishment is a young Syrian woman who sources ingredients directly from farmers and due to a collaboration with the Lyzamir Spice Shop, ensures authentic flavours in every bite, be it savoury or sweet.
Bab SimSim (“sesame door” in Arabic) is indeed a gateway to exotic flavours along the Middle Eastern Spice Route.
Due to the small kitchen area, Georgia is offering a customized “Levantine Family Table” consisting of:
Fattouche Salad - cucumber, tomato, radish, fresh herbs, crispy za'atar bread, homemade vinaigrette with pomegranate molasses.
Saffron Lentil Rice
Chicken Musakhan - shredded chicken flavored with sumac, caramelized onions, and yogurt sauce.
Oriental Haricots Verts
Large platters are placed in the middle of the table and guests then serve themselves.
Cost: 35 CHF (Drinks and/or dessert at additional cost)
Please pay in cash only at the club by Monday 25th May. No refunds after this date.
Should registration be full, please don’t hesitate to join the waitlist .
