Interested in Mahjong but don't know how to play? It's not so difficult. We can teach you the game! But first have a look at the general game instructions https://www.coololdgames.com/tile-games/mahjong/hong-kong/
If you have played Mahjong before, it is likely our we play different than you. We have noticed that every club or household around the world plays a different version. Please click here to see our Mahjong House Rules, Winning Hands and Scoring.
RSVP by Monday at 18:00. The activity will be cancelled if we don't get a minimum of three.
Newcomers to the game, the game of mahjong is a bit complicated in the beginning so plan to play at least three times to start understanding the basics and improve from there.

La Maison de Tara is a hospice home where people in palliative care can stay as an alternative to hospitalization. Residents spend their final days in a non-medical atmosphere surrounded by warmth, care and tenderness.
Volunteers from the AIWC as well as community volunteers help to maintain a beautiful vegetable, flower and rose garden. As this is a fairly new garden space, the garden design is an ongoing project.
Wednesdays, 8:30-14:30 pm. Please feel free to come for an hour, two hours or all day - whatever time you can stay! It is also possible to work at the garden on other days!
Bring a drink and a lunch or snack as we will enjoy "teatime" where we can learn gardening tips and skills with our wonderful Horticulturalist, Adina Oosterwijk.
You are welcome to join us in the garden and also join the WhatsApp group for the weekly project updates. When you come to the garden, please check in with Anne Terada, and be sure to prepare for the weather! We have a supply of gardening gloves and tools.

Thursday Yin Yoga with Ping
Yin Yoga is a slow, contemplative practice that invites you to pause and turn inward. By holding postures for several minutes, we gently stimulate the body's fascia, joints, and connective tissues while creating space for deep relaxation.
Rooted in the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine, each class may follow the rhythm of the seasons and explore different meridian pathways associated with specific organs and elements. As we encourage the smooth flow of Qi through the body, the practice supports physical balance, emotional steadiness, and inner calm.
This is an opportunity to slow down, breathe deeply, and leave feeling grounded, restored, and connected.
This Event will take place in Fay Rogers' garden, bus 33, stop Planta. There is bike parking in the garden and an area for visitor car parking adjacent to the garden. The actual address will be given in the confirmation email after registration. Please note Fay has a cat.
